So, it’s June, the month of rainbow flags, and that means it’s time to promote LGBT+ books!
The Blogosphere, a Discord server hosted by Ahaana @ Windows to Worlds, is a hub for book bloggers and bookstagrammers to meet new people, hang out, and create even more of a community within the bookish online world. Ahaana and the moderators at the Blogosphere are hosting a month-long bingo game for reading LGBT+ books. You can see the bingo board here:
If you’re interested in participating and making some new friends, you can join the Blogosphere via this link.
I’m going to have a lot of fun with these challenges! Unfortunately, I am a mood reader, and I’ve learned that I never stick to a formal TBR. However, these are some of the books I’m thinking about reading:
- The Sorcerer of the Wildeeps by Kalashante Wilson
- If Not, Winter: Fragments of Sappho (translated by Anne Carson)
- When Tara Met Farah by Tara Pammi
These three slim volumes aren’t enough to get me bingo, but I’m hoping they’ll wet my appetite for more books now that my finals are over and I can finally start really reading again. What LGBT+ books are you reading this June? What are you most looking forward to? Let me know!
